Marc, Mary and Julie here announcing the 2009 Summer Rock Camp dates & times!
For those of you unfamiliar with our Summer Rock Camps, students who attend are grouped into "bands" based on age, ability, and instrument forming a "band". Our summer program is taught by the same professional musicians who teach our lessons. The summer sessions allow our students to experience playing & performing in a "real-musicians" world. Monday through Thursday is "band-practice" where they learn up to 5 songs, (a set), to perform and record on the final day, Friday. They then use our "in-house" recording studio to "cut" a CD!
For the fourth year, we will have a "gig" scheduled in the Fall for all the summer "bands". This gives our students the experience of performing in a professional setting that is family friendly! Session Dates & Times
We will be having a camp session every week of the summer, starting the week of June 8th through the week of August 17th. The dates represent the Mondays of each week.
June 8, 15, 22, 29
July 6, 13, 20, 27
August 3, 10, 17
The sessions are 4 hours long each day for a week, (Monday through Friday) and will run from 10 am to 2 pm daily.
Session Pricing
Our weekly sessions are significantly discounted for the student who would like to attend more than one week.
One Week $475
Multiple weeks
(need not be consecutive)
Two Weeks $800, $400 per week!
Three Weeks, $1050, $350 per week!
Four Weeks, $1200, $300 per week!
Five or more Weeks, $250 per week!
How to Enroll!
OK.. Everybody that is interested in participating please fill out the form below. We will confirm via email your date and session time. A deposit equal to 50% of the total Summer Session price is due on May 15th.
The kids are asked to bring lunch along with them on Monday through Thursday. On Friday, (studio day), we will have a pizza lunch. Please send $5 along with your rocker for pizza and fun!
