How do I enroll?
In order to enroll all you do is call or email us with the day and time. We will call you back with a confirmation and this will only be emailed at your request. Due to the nature of scheduling so many students, it is best if you give us a choice of times that work for you.
What is the fee and how often do I pay?
The fees vary depending on the length of the lesson:
30 minute lessons - $25 or $100 a block
45 minute lessons - $37.50 or $150 a block
60 minute lessons - $50 or $200 a block
Zounds Sounds operates on the proverbial "dance card" basis (blocks). This means we sell our lessons in a package of four lessons that must be used in a six week period. Students taking a first lesson need only pay for the introductory lesson. In order to hold the time for the next week, a block must be purchased. Renewals are to be purchased at the final lesson of a pay period. Lessons are transferable, but non-refundable.
Rock Band rehearsal fees are as follows:
30 minute rehearsal - $20 per student
Each additional 15 minute increment is $5, i.e. a two hour rehearsal is $50
Can I request a teacher?
Yes, however taking from that teacher is based on their availability.
Can I cancel my lesson?
All lessons may be cancelled at no charge with 24 hours notice, however keep in mind that your dance card expires six weeks after the first lesson. In the case of illness there is no charge and it does not count against your six weeks. If your cancellation is made under 24 hours you will be charged. No refunds.
What if my teacher cancels?
If your teacher needs to cancel your dance card expiration will be moved to the following week unless the lesson is rescheduled for that week.
Do all Zounds Sounds students get to be in bands immediately?
All students are moved into the band program when both student and teacher feel the student is ready. This usually coincides with one of our semi-annual concerts.
